The Evanston Garden Walk is scheduled for Sunday, June 28, 2026.
Please join us, rain or shine, for a walk through some of the most creative, beautiful, and personal gardens Evanston has to offer. Most gardens are navigable for most, although steep inclines and steps do occur in some. See the note about accessibility in the FAQ below. Maps are provided to ticketholders.
Eight carefully curated, unique gardens from all around our city.
A sneak peek at just a few of the gardens on the Walk includes:
Also, find out how to use ecologically sound practices like native plants inyour garden.

- Meander through a roomy backyard with large swathes of perennials that pop with color and texture all season long.
- Skillful use of shade-loving plants and containers make full use of the space under one of the largest Cottonwood trees in Evanston.
All proceeds from the Garden Walk help provide scholarships for children to attend the Evanston Ecology Center's summer camps.
