EcoTravelers Camp

Discover science and nature through adventures into the Biomes of the World! EcoTravelers allows campers to learn about and enjoy the natural world in biomes all over the world. The campers will experience them through experiments, games, challenges, crafts and hands-on activities. Each session includes a beach day, a field trip, a canoe trip, a fishing expedition and a one-night campout. Post-Camp Care is available, see page 25 of the Camp Guide. Information: 847-448-8256

Age: 8-9 yrs., entering grades 3 and 4

Fee: $370 R/$460 NR   

 Session IV: Tropical and Deciduous Forests Campers will learn about the two main types of forests that cover our world. We will swing from the trees as we learn about the tropical forests near the equator. Next, we will bounce through the deciduous forest as we study wildlife like the white-tailed deer. We will learn how important these biomes are to all forms of life.
