Great Blue Lobelia boasts a lovely blue flower in late summer when most blossoms are yellow. Found in prairie to savanna situations, it prefers wet to mesic soils, requiring consistent moisture for best performance. It can reach up to three feet in the right conditions. Bumblebees and other bees visit consistently along with the occasional ruby throated hummingbird.
