Garden Walk

Save the Date

Join us Sunday, June 25, 2017, noon to 5 pm, for Evanston’s 28th annual Garden Walk—a showcase of eight private gardens, plus a secluded, fully landscaped residential pond hidden within a condominium community.

A Sneak Preview

A sneak peek at just a few of the eight private gardens includes:

  • Two formal European-style gardens laden with topiaries, clipped hedges, magnificent containers, and hide-away garden rooms.
  • A creative re-imagining of what a new owner did to remodel a former garden designer’s close-to-the-lake garden.
  • A passionate gardener’s “built by hand” garden that incorporates heritage, family mementoes, ornamental plants, boxed veggie beds, with a welcoming neighborhood appeal.
  • A front, native plant-only garden designated exclusively for birds, butterflies, and pollinating insects.

Proceeds Go to the EEA

Proceeds from the Garden Walk benefit the educational programs of the Evanston Environmental Association.
