Discover science and nature through adventures into the Biomes of the World! EcoTravelers allows campers to learn about and enjoy the natural world in biomes all over the world. The campers will experience them through experiments, games, challenges, crafts and hands-on activities. Each session includes a beach day, a field trip, a canoe trip, a fishing expedition and a one-night campout. Post-Camp Care is available, see page 25 of the Camp Guide. Information: 847-448-8256

Session II: Desert and Tundra These two extreme biomes are on opposite ends of the temperature scale, but they share a very important trait in common. Both the desert and tundra get the lowest amount of rain fall of any of the biomes. Campers will compare and contrast survival strategies in these biomes through activities, games and crafts. No camp July 4.
