Description
Change the culture of lawns. Test replacing a bit of non-native turf grass with James' Sedge, an attractive, short, mat-forming, grass-like plant that is native. Sometimes called Grass Sedge, host plant to skippers and the Eyed and Appalachian Brown butterflies. Birds, such as Finches, Chickadees, Titmice, rely on sedges for seed into winter.
