Description
A woodland bloomer Virginia Waterleaf sports pale lavender pom poms. Diverse native bees love this plant, including the federally endangered Rusty Patched Bumble Bee, cuckoo bees, non-stinging mason bees and one specialist pollinator, Andrena geranii, that will only pollinate this plant. Virginia Waterleaf can spread, but its populations have declined in areas invaded by garlic mustard.
